The requirements for a E.W.T Slinger/signaller are as follows:

• 25 Questions in a controlled environment with no disturbances.

• Certification for the lifting equipment, lifting accessories and machine operator’s qualifications must be checked prior to the test starting

• The learner must identify 1 serviceable and 2 unserviceable lifting accessories i.e. webbing sling, wire rope, lifting chains and / or shackles

• Prepare and set the area for each lift

• Prepare area for out of sight lifts

• Flat area for placing of load

• Carry out test lift prior to lifting any load

• Lift 3 loads

• Load 1 must be balanced

• Load 2 must be unbalanced

• Load 3 must consist of tubes (or similar structure) no less than 4m in length

All equipment must meet P.U.W.E.R  & L.O.L.E.R. regulations.The full test must be completed within 1hrs 20min.
