The requirements for a E.W.T Road Roller are as follows:

• 25 Questions in a controlled environment with no disturbances.

• Complete all pre-start and running checks.

• Compact a radius with supporting edge applying at least three passes.

• Compact a straight run with supporting and un-supporting edges applying at least three passes.

• Negotiate cones or obstructions in the compacting area.

• Shut down procedures

• The full test must be completed within 1hr.

The operators manual must be accessible. The roller must be fitted with R.O.P.S. An area of at least 4 times the width of the roller and at least 15M long must be available for compaction. the material used must clearly show areas that have been compacted. All equipment must meet P.U.W.E.R regulations.
